We started our discussion on knowledge yesterday. Why knowledge?
God is a God of knowledge.
The fear of the Lord is Knowledge;
Knowledge increases strength;
Knowledge gives Power;
Knowledge preserves.
We need updated knowledge of the mind of God about our partner, home, job and ministry.
Ignorance makes a man act in foolishness. Foolishness entices a man to defile his woman before marriage; motivates a lady to pack into his fiance house in the name of espousal; wears a ring on a lady's finger in the name of proposal and still flirt around.
Friend, your engagement is not just about the ring on the finger; not about him taking you to the best restaurant in the world to propose; its a decision from your heart. It doesn't stop both of you from misbehaving of you lack true knowledge about that ring and many other things like your purpose together.
We see different women with engagement rings caught in sexual immorality during NYSC Orientation Camping (A journey of few days). The ring lost its value and purpose.
The greatest informant is the Holy Spirit, He gives revelation of BEST KNOWLEDGE from the WORD of God and godly materials.
Fear God, it is true knowledge.
