There's this fact that female folks try to deny but it is well known that it is self deceit. It is the Law of ASSUMPTION.
It takes place when you are fond of a particular guy and your closeness is very deep as if in a relationship WHEREAS! He hasn't even expressed any intentions. Oh! Because he is calling you Dear? If only you know Dear is one out of many names for his female friends. So don't jump over the moon yet. There's Dear, Dearie, Dearest etc.
If his actions are really leading you on, Sister, seek wise counsel, why not confront him sensibly to ask that the relationship be clearly defined.
He may not be the man OF your dreams but He's already the one IN your dreams.
