On a sunny afternoon, Wonder arrived at Frank's family house, stressed and tired after the three hours of sacrificial journey. All soon forgotten at the sight of her sweetheart who opened the gate and met her with a warm hug.
This is her first time visit to Frank's compound although they've been together for two years and kept the relationship at distance.
Everyone knows Frank very well at Wonder's house. He visit often and spend days in town.
Wonder thought it normal to reciprocate the visit during Christmas when she will have enough money to buy gifts for his large family and spend time with his parents, also which will curb them of stunts that can lead to immorality.
Surprisingly, She discovered that everyone has travelled to the village for the festive celebration and her fiance, Frank, hides the information from her till she got to his house.
She was disappointed and decided to travel to a friend's place whose house is few kilometers away. Frank apologized and pleaded that she spends Christmas with him alone at home. She knows her man so well, he sees nothing wrong in fornication in as much as their relationship leads to marriage, and she avoided it all these years.
"Do I have the strength to travel now?, she asked herself.
What can she do in her tired and confused state?
