"How can I do this thing and sin against God", Wonder thought within herself.

"Let me show you to your room", said Frank.
"Don't bother, I will have to come back next time, whenever your family is around, I can't imagine both of us alone under the same roof. I know you Frank. I can't break my purity vows in the name of Christmas treat", Wonder retorted.

"So you don't trust me, ehn?" Frank was infuriated
"You can leave, if that is your final decision after several apologies and promises. You now see me as the devil not your angel anymore, leave", he pointed to the door showing her the exit.

"Why did you deceive me in the first place?  Love doesn't deceive. I'll rather leave". Wonder left in anger.  As she hurried down the street to get a bike to take her to the park, sobbing; a bike man dialing a number on his phone, knocked her down and fled.

"What happened? Did you change your mind, it's almost 10am." Her mother asked.
"Am no longer traveling, I had a terrible dream", she narrated the dream to her mother.
"Then, we thank God who reveals deep and secret things to His children. We must inquire very well from Him, if He wants this union between you and Frank because who you marry determines to a large extent if you will fulfill purpose and make heaven", her mother replied.

25/12/17 CHRISTMAS TREAT - EPISODE 1

On a sunny afternoon, Wonder arrived at Frank's family house, stressed and tired after the three hours of  sacrificial journey. All soon forgotten at the sight of her sweetheart who opened the gate and met her with a warm hug.
This is her first time visit to Frank's compound although they've been together for two years and kept the relationship at distance.
Everyone knows Frank very well at Wonder's house. He visit often and spend days in town.
Wonder thought it normal to reciprocate the visit during Christmas when she will have enough money to buy gifts for his large family and spend time with his parents, also which will curb them of stunts that can lead to immorality.

Surprisingly, She discovered that everyone has travelled to the village for the festive celebration and her fiance, Frank, hides the information from her till she got to his house.

She was disappointed and decided to travel to a friend's place whose house is few kilometers away. Frank apologized and pleaded that she spends Christmas with him alone at home. She knows her man so well, he sees nothing wrong in fornication in as much as their relationship leads to marriage, and she avoided it all these years.

"Do I have the strength to travel now?, she asked herself.

What can she do in her tired and confused state?

15/12/17 I WISH I KNEW

Dare's love for Bimpe is beyond words. Their relationship is really enviable- friends for two years, highly compatible and sweet together.

Dare is a young, godly, rich and caring man. Bimpe sees herself blessed to have Dare while her friends pray for such a husband as Dare.

His outspoken personality and friendly nature earns him advances from ladies at work, even in church too.
What a glorious and memorable marriage ceremony they had.The honeymoon at Paris was the peak of excitement for the couple.
However, during their honeymoon, Bimpe noticed her husband loves different styles on bed for sexual pleasure which she is not exposed to. She married as a virgin and never imagined such from her husband. She kept pondering on where he learnt it all from.
Before they left Paris, Dare took her to a beautiful hotel different from where they lodged. Although she was in pains,she had no choice but to glow for the sake of her husband. He took her to a particular section of the hotel exclusive to view Strippers dance. Bimpe,disgusted at the sight, ran out feeling highly disappointed. On getting back to their room, Dare apologized and further suggested that Bimpe learns from recorded series- pornography displayed on TV for better enlightenment.Bimpe wished she was dreaming. She was still in pains from previous "fun" and this man still wanted more of it.

She was in a hospital ward the next time she opened her eyes and on that bed, she remembered her mum's resistance to her marrying Dare. "Something is just not right about him",she often said. Bimpe wondered if by that, she was now referring to Dare's addiction.

'Why did God hide this part of Dare's life from me and my mother because we prayed together?', she wondered.

Bimpe planned to open up to her mother but later considered the shame it will bring to her husband. So, she decided to satisfy him and trust God for his change. Dare however remained unapologetic and unconcerned about her pains as long as he got satisfaction in the way he pleases.
Silent prayer: Lord, help me.

Frank: How do you know if a lady is your wife?

Sunday: Through inner peace and confirmation.

Frank: But I've had peace over my last two relationships when we started, after some time the peace disappeared.

Sunday: Follow your heart.

Frank: How?

Sunday: Load your heart with the word of God after which you can decide.

Frank: I read the word, which one is load?

Sunday: Meditate it, observe it, memorise it and eat it. I am not joking Frank. When I wanted to make my own choice, I zero my mind on ladies. I concentrated on the my fellowship with God. The day I will meet my wife, a word from the bible came to me early in the morning before I left the house which I did not understand till I saw her.

Frank: Sunday baba! Husband of one wife.

Sunday: Sincerely, it was as if scale fell off my eyes. I just knew it. Stop your trial and error method, focus your heart on the word. Jesus is the word that never fails. Its not old-fashioned, it still works.

Bride-to-be:  There is no way forward than my wedding.

Bride's friend: I will not be surprised if your marriage fails.

Bride-to-be: My home will stand because it stands on the solid rock, Jesus. How am I suppose to know he is your ex when we are not so close. You found out when I sent our pre-wedding picture to you.

Friend: He forced me to abort our baby in the US. I never knew he was in a relationship here in Nigeria. He promised me marriage but eloped to Nigeria just to plan this! With all these atrocities, you still want to settle down with him?

Bride-to-be: We've been together for five years before he travelled. You and I are just colleagues at work. I love him and I've invested a lot in my wedding plans. We are traveling together after our wedding. Our parents are very close, I can't but keep it as my secret or wound to nurse.

Friend: You don't mean it?

Woye, a focused young and talented man, very hard working with  defined written plans and visions to become a motivational speaker and consultant in business.
His faith in God is uncompromising, he dedicates his time to God and his vision. Distractions like social gatherings disgusts him.

He prefers to attend seminars, trainings and programs related to his dream. His passion increase daily as he loves to motivate youths around live a purposeful life.

His mother always teases him if he was ever going to think of marriage with the pace at which he was moving with God and his dream.

At the age of twenty five, he was already working with a multinational company in Lagos, earned big. At that same age, he had four growing businesses. Yet, he saw it as a starting point.
That same year, it was so strong in his spirit to propose to a lady in his church. He had known the lady for a long time, she was an undergraduate. Woye moved closer to her but never had time to build the friendship.
He marked his thirtieth birthday with his building, car for his parents, and ten full grown businesses. He felt fulfilled to a certain percentage and decided to settle down in marriage. He called his abandoned girl friend exactly a day to her wedding in another state.

He cried to God for another woman and God told him he had to wait for him to make another for him because that lady in question was the perfect will but he was clouded with his ambition instead of yielding to his leading to propose and not marriage at age 25.
There is still room for another but he will need real patience.
At this stage, his exposure to temptation is high because he is rich.

Subject your ambition and plans to divine timing so that you will not burn when you are to glow.

Rosalyn, a thirty-seven year old lady got tired of her unmarried status after several counseling session with the pastor of her church, she became known by the pastor's family. She joined the evangelical church six years ago, migrated from banking industry to insurance which is his ambition.

The sermon on patience and God's timing bore her oftentimes.

Finally on the twelfth of December, she was approached by Samuel, an usher in the church who also joined the church three years after Rosa. Samuel is forty years old, a G.MD of a microfinance bank.
They started their relationship in a short time. The pastor has no option than to release them both to get married because of their age with no time for proper counseling. The pastor could see the desperation in them both.

Three weeks after their wedding, they stopped attending the church and all efforts to invite them was abortive.
The Pastor and his wife decided to visit them. To their amazement, they met Samuel smoking cigarette and sister Rosalyn with alcoholic wine which they did not intend to hide from the pastor and his wife.

They both confessed their former promiscuous life before joining the church. They are not saved; their plan is to get a faithful brother and sister respectively to marry from the church but unfortunately they ended up hooking up with each other and decided to maintain the home as it appears.

They have a balanced equation, appear married but are roommates.
