Abbey and Yemisi, his fiancée, went to an eatery to discuss.
Yemisi: To be candid my dear, I am very happy our business fast growing. Two branches in a year could only be God.
Abbey: The Lagos office must birth a baby in no time and research has prayerfully started. We thank God for Divine Wisdom and grace to identify our own line of business.
Yemisi: He has never disappointed us. We called Him and He led us. We are His children, remember?
Abbey: You are right. I also thank God for the woman He gave me. Sincerely, I appreciate your huge financial, moral and spiritual support. You are one in a million.
Yemisi: Thanking me is as thanking yourself.
Abbey: I know. How many women out there can sacrifice such huge amount to a man they are not yet married?
Yemisi: We still have quite a number of us. At least, it is our family business and our secret.
Abbey: I will forever be grateful to God and to you. I hope we have finalized the issue of relocation. Our wedding is fast approaching.
Yemisi: Hmmm!
Abbey: Oluwayemisi, you can't be in Port Harcourt while I stay alone in Lagos as a married man. We should be together.
Yemisi: I know but the returns in the business is not up to my salary in a month and you know that my dear.
Abbey: This is our little beginning and I don't want you to despise that. We are not married and God has blessed us this much in a year. I am sure we will experience greater increase after marriage. Remember, two will chase ten thousand.
Yemisi: This whole issue may appear to you as if I'm not submissive but I want us to consider opening a new branch here in Port Harcourt that I can also oversee. I will get customers in no time, due to my influence at work.
Abbey: My dear, its easier said than done and God has not directed us to that place yet. He led us to open Ogun and Lagos branch which is moving on a top speed today.
Yemisi: Maybe we should look into that Port Harcourt branch also and pray about it. It is not easy to forsake my career like that. Consider the returns please.
Abbey: I am speechless. We need to see our counselor over this issue. Can we eat now?
Yemisi: (Breathes in) Alright.
